Method

  • Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in strawberries and pineapple. Turn into pastry-lined 9" pie pan. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust (use latticed top for greatest appeal); flute edges. Brush top of pie with milk.
  • Bake in hot oven (400°F.)
