Green Grape-Apple Pie

Grapes blend their honey sweetness with tart, juicy summer apples

Ingredients

  • Pastry for 2-Crust Pie
  • 2 c. seedless green grapes
  • 3 c. sliced peeled apples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 tblsp. quick-cooking tapioca
  • ¼ tsp. ground cardamon
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 tblsp. butter

Method

  • Combine grapes, apples, sugar, tapioca, spices and salt. Turn into pastry-lined 9" pie pan. Dot with butter.
  • Adjust top crust; flute edges and cut vents. Bake in hot oven (425°F.) 50 to 60 minutes.
