Method

  • Rinse raisins in warm water; drain thoroughly. Put through food chopper, using medium blade.
  • Add sugar, cream and salt. Heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  • Pour into pastry-lined 9" pie pan. Adjust top crust; flute edges, cut vents.
