  • Unbaked 9" pie shell
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • ¾ c. light brown sugar
  • ¼ c. soft butter or margarine
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • ½ c. crushed black walnuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. seedless raisins


  • Combine eggs, sugar and butter, beating until thick and fluffy. Add corn syrup; beat until fluffy. Add walnuts and vanilla; add raisins, beating gently.
  • Turn into pie shell. Bake in moderate oven (375°F.) until firm in the center, 30 to 40 minutes.
