Place chocolate pieces in top of double boiler. Melt over hot water.

  • Add evaporated milk and vanilla. Blend thoroughly.
  • Spread in a layer over bottom of pie shell and fill with Pecan Meringue. Pecan Meringue: Sift flour; measure; sift again with salt.
