1 (12 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate pieces

Method

Combine chocolate, milk, sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Cook over hot water until mixture is blended and smooth. Cool slightly.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into chocolate mixture, blending well.
Pour into cool pie shell. Let set at least 2 or 3 hours. T
