Baked 9" pie shell
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
¼ c. cold water

Method

Soften gelatin in water.
Combine egg yolks with milk. Cook in top of double boiler or over low heat until mixture coats a metal spoon.
Add gelatin and candy. Stir until both are dissolved. Chill until slightly thickened.
Fold in cream and food color.
Add salt to egg whites. Beat until they hold soft peaks. Add sugar gradually, beatin
