  • Arrange pear slices in bottom of 8" X 8" X 2" baking dish. Combine sugar, flour and salt; sprinkle over pears. Cover with mincemeat, sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter.
  • Roll pastry about 1" larger than top of baking dish. Place pastry on fruit. Fold a little of the pastry under; crimp edges and cut slits.
