Ingredients

  • Baked 9" pie shell
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • ½ c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (12 oz.) glass strawberry preserves
  • Whipped cream

Method

  • Combine cream cheese, softened at room temperature, and sugar; mix to blend thoroughly.
  • Gradually stir in eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake in moderate oven (350°F.) 25 minutes. Cool. Top with strawberry preserves and whipped cream or dairy sour cream.
