Method

  • Line 9" pie pan with half of pastry.
  • Pan-fry bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble.
  • Drain clams. Measure ¾ c. clam liquid into bowl. Stir in clams, milk, eggs, crackers, bacon and seasonings. Turn into pie shell. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust; flute edges and cut vents.
  • Bake in very hot oven
