This is a healthy fermented version of a fizzy soft drink we typically have at Christmas in Sweden. My aunty posted me this recipe and I got really excited as the drink is not that easy to get hold of outside Sweden unless you live close to IKEA – it is absolutely delicious and definitely tastes similar to the original version although not as sweet, which is a good thing. When I give this drink to non-Swedes they usually say they have never tried anything like it but they think the most similar thing would be a root beer crossed with cola. You will have to be the judge of it when you make it.
