  • About

This is the most traditional and best-loved recipe in the city of Coquimbo, a busy port since 1840. It is so popular that the sandwich even has its own festival, at which about 1,500 of the sandwiches are devoured. The status of Churrasco Marino as the dish of the area is due to its low cost, rapid preparation and great taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, very finely sliced
  • 10 ml/2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • jui

Method

  1. First, make the batter. Put the flour and salt in a large bowl and make a ‘well’ in the middle. Whisk the eggs, 120 ml/4 fl oz/½
