  • 6–8 medium sweet potatoes
  • 2 sticks margarine or butter, melted
  • ½ cup


Boil the sweet potatoes until soft (30 to 40 minutes). Drain and allow to cool. When cool, peel the potatoes and mash them in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the margarine (or butter), sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
