  • About

Prawns are perhaps one of the easiest foods to cook and, fortunately, they are also one of the most popular. Who can resist succulent, tasty prawns? Not many of us. This recipe uses olive oil, mixing Eastern and Western ingredients for a fresh taste - a technique known as fusion cooking.

Ingredients

  • 450g (1 lb) raw unpeeled prawns, fresh or frozen
  • 2

Method

  1. If using frozen prawns, defrost thoroughly. Peel the prawns and discard the shells. Using a small sharp knife, remove the fine digestive cord. Wash them, drain and pat dry with kitchen paper.
  2. Heat a wok over high heat until it is hot. Add the oil, and when it is hot and slightly smoking, add the garlic and onions. Stir-fry for 2 Minutes or until golden brown.</
