While there are several lowfat tortilla chips now on the market, they’ll never be as tasty as the ones you can make yourself in minutes. We have to laugh at the tortilla and potato chips that conspicuously announce that they have no cholesterol. What they don’t say is that those cholesterol-free chips are fried in vegetable oil and have plenty of fat.
Fresh flour and corn tortillas are available in the dairy sections of most supermarkets. The thinner the tortilla, the better the chips.
