  • ½ cup (packed) basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup reduced-fat mayonnaise


    Very finely chop the basil with the garlic and a pinch of salt in a food processor. Add the lemon juice. Gradually add the mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon at a time, until mixture is well blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
