Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fresh fettuccine or dried wide egg noodles
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Method

  • Cook noodles in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Ladle out about 2 tablespoons of the cooking water before draining. Drain noodles.
  • Combine the reserved noodle cooking water and the poppy seeds in the saucepan. Add the hot noodles and toss. Serve at once.
