My children and nephews love this dish because the mild-flavored fish almost melts in your mouth. My grandmother used to make it for my sister and me when we were children, and now I love to make it for our children.
Place the potatoes in a medium stockpot and add 4 cups (1 liter) of cold water and 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain in a colander and toss well to shake off excess water. Set aside to cool.
