  • 2-inch piece gingerroot, peeled and finely chopped or grated

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a small saucepan, add the ginger, garlic and scallions and cook gently about 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and leave to simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Stir the sauce into a stir-fry for the last minute of cooking to heat through.
