This is such a great dish to cook in the oven or on a barbecue. The marinade is textbook tandoori and the acids from the lemon and yoghurt mean that it is ready to go within minutes of being prepped, or is even better if you prep it and leave it covered in the fridge for a day or two before cooking. Slashing the flesh helps with making sure the flavours find their way into the flesh, but this really is a rub and go.
