Mrs. Weissenburg was a sprightly old Moravian lady who lived in Fountain Hill near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. My friend Jonas Slonaker interviewed her in 1976, a few years before her death, and recorded her technique for coloring eggs in this traditional manner.
