  • 4 oz plain flour
  • 2 level teaspoons baking powder
  • Β½ teaspo

Method

Mix the flour, salt and baking powder. Cut the butter into small pieces and rub it into the flour. Mix the egg and parsley and stir into the flour mixture. Add milk little by little to make a stiff dough. Form into little balls the size of marbles. Drop them on to the top of your stew, which is already cooking, about 20 minutes before you want to eat.
