  • 1 large ripe avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled
  • ½ cup diced fresh or canned pineapple
  • ½

Method

In a bowl, combine the avocado, pineapple, bell pepper, cilantro, green onion, chile (if using), and lime zest and juice and mash together with a fork until all the ingredients are well incorporated but the mixture is still somewhat chunky. Season with salt and black pepper, cover, and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

The guac can be made 1 day in advance and refrigerated in an airtigh
