  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon

Method

Heat the oven to 350° F. Combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar and stir until well mixed.

Beat the butter and shortening in a large mixer bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Beat in the sugar and egg yolk and mix well.
