This is every kid’s favourite and it is easy to make.
Put the milk and sugar in a heavy-based saucepan, stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves, then bring to the boil. Add the coconut and stir for another 5 minutes or until the mixture reaches 121°C (250°F) on a sugar thermometer.
