  • 4 globe artichokes
  • 1 pinch parsley or chervil
  • Salt

Method

Cut the artichoke stems at the base of the leaves. Using a pair of scissors, cut off the tips of the outside leaves and trim off the top third. Wash the artichokes and tie them so that the leaves stay in place while they boil. Prepare a pot of boiling water and place the artichokes in it. Leave them to cook for 10 minutes and drain the water off.
