This is a wonderfully aromatic syrup that you could pour over any combination of tropical fruit, but I think that it’s most suited to the slightly acidic nature of pineapple. Serve the chilled syrupy pineapple at the end of a long, hot day, with or without the sorbet, and you’ll be met with beaming smiles.
