Fattoush is traditionally made from all the vegetables in one’s garden and topped with stale bread, fattoush is considered a “peasant salad”. Nowadays, it has become more expensive to make because the quality and availability of its ingredients are seasonal. It’s best to prepare all the vegetables first, and let them dry thoroughly before mixing them together.
