When we were first married, my husband and I spent a wonderful week on the little island of Kalymnos in Greece, swimming in the ocean, tanning to an unhealthy mahogany color, and lunching in little beachside cafes (usually surrounded by an inordinate number of overly friendly cats). It was wonderful, but of course, my favorite part of the trip was discovering all the delicious desserts.
