  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece lemon peel

Method

Combine 4 cups of water and the rice, cinnamon stick, and lemon peel in a saucepan and bring to a boil, then decrease the heat and simmer, covered, until the rice is softened, at least 20 to 30 minutes.
