This dressed-up pudding presentation features a whimsical chocolate beetle perched on an edible leaf also made of chocolate. To simplify, you can replace both the beetle and the leaf with a whipped cream rosette topped with a chocolate figurine. The delicious flavor will still be there, but the originality rating will suffer a bit. When I last featured this recipe on the menu, my students told me that the small glazed pudding cakes looked just like Ding-Dongs — before they were decorated —
