Why These Flavors Work

Milk chocolate’s sweetness is enhanced by the sour-bitter tastes of the lime. They are frontal flavors, very pronounced and identifiable, yet in this preparation they are both texturally smooth and creamy: opposite tastes/one texture. The lemon soda sphere has more of a background citrus flavor. The crystallized verbena has mostly citrus and floral notes. The verbena leaf is a brief note that is friendly with the other flavors
