This is a wonderful drink to enjoy when the weather gets warm, but I’ll admit that I’ve made it in the cold winter too (it works well with Christmas colors).
Rinse and gently scrub the ginger to remove any traces of dirt. If the ginger is young with a thin skin, leave the skin on; otherwise peel it. Cut into thin slices.
