Ingredients

  • 1 kg hubeza
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 225 mls olive oil

Method

  • rinse the hubeza & chop into pieces, roughly 3cm long
  • fry the onion in the olive oil until soft & translucent, but not caramelised
  • add the hubeza & a little water & fry with the onions for 10 minutes until soft
  • season well with salt & pepper & add the spices, mix well & serve warm
