Chip Butty

I know nothing about potato sandwiches, so had to turn to a friend who tells me that he lived off them many years ago while a student at Trinity College Dublin. The secret, he tells me, is two fresh slices of ‘white pan’ bread, thickly smeared with butter, and on one piece
