Mix the onion and garlic with the minced lamb. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, and fry a tiny piece to check whether the seasoning is to your liking. Add more spices if it needs it. Wet your hands and form the mixture into balls or sausage shapes around skewers or satay sticks. Heat the grill, and when hot, grill the kebabs until done to your liking. The length of time required will also depend on how thickly the meat is packed around the skewers.
