Cherry Souffle

Suflet z Wiśni Surowych


  • 2 cups bread cubes
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter, size of an egg
  • Milk to soften bread
  • 1 lb. pitted cherries
  • ¼ cup chopped almonds
  • 3 eggs, separated


Soften bread cubes with milk. Add sugar, cinnamon and butter. Add pitted cherries, almonds, and mix well. Add egg yolks, and last fold in egg whites. Butter and sugar a fruit mold. Pour mixture into mold and bake in 375° oven for 15 minutes. Serve at once.
