Marcypan

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. almonds
  • Flavoring (rose water)
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar

Method

Grind almonds very fine. Combine in saucepan with sugar and flavoring, cook until mixture leaves side of pan. Roll like pie crust. Cut in small heart shapes, lay on buttered paper and place in warm place to dry. Decorate with cherries or any other fruit.
