Chocolate Log

This heavenly chocolate log was a treat I enjoyed often at my friend Ronnie’s house, courtesy of her mom Sefi. Even as a kid, sugar was my greatest weakness: I’d return for slice after slice, a rich combination of chocolate, biscuits, and nuts. I wanted to include a recipe for a chocolate log because its intricate, artistic appearance belies its true simplicity. It is delicious and makes for a perfect gift at this time of year. I also like to infuse it with orange zest for a slight twist.</
