These small cucumbers preserved in brine taste quite different to the ones pickled in vinegar, and you can also use the brine to add flavour to soups and dressings. They are available at any Polish shop (called ogórki kwaszone or ogórki kiszone) and in the ‘world foods’ section of most supermarkets.
