  • About

Coriander also comes in seed and powdered form. It tastes very different to fresh coriander, which I discuss in the fresh ingredients section. The dried spice has mellow floral and citrus notes and is often found in dishes across Asia and the Middle East. When whole, it is a light brownish yellow round seed and is great for pickling. Like all spices, you need to toast them over a medium heat to release all their wonderful aromas. Do this before grinding them into a fine powder if you are making your own ground coriander. Coriander is said to be very good for treating digestive issues.
