  • About
A Japanese mixture of seven ground spices, seeds and flavourings, which varies from city to city. It may consist of, for example, two hot and five aromatic flavours — red pepper, sansho pepper, sesame seeds, flax seeds, poppy seeds, ground nori (seaweed) and dried tangerine or orange peel. Used as a seasoning in noodles and on cooked and grilled meats and fish.
