  • About

Korean red pepper paste, shown, is a staple in Korean cuisine. It is made from dried red pepper flakes and a variety of ingredients that are fermented. It is packed in red plastic rectangular containers and is used in making kimchi, a variety of sauces and as a condiment to add fire and spice to dishes. There is no substitute for this and it must be purchased at an Asian grocer or through an online store.
