  • About
Frozen meat should be thawed in the refrigerator. If you are short on time, you can put frozen meat in a resealable plastic bag and immerse it in a large container of cold water. This will cut the thawing time by about one-third, but the food will be drier when cooked. Never thaw meat in warm water.
