How to Store Sausages

Appears in
The Bacon Bible

By Peter Sherman and Stephanie Banyas

Published 2019

  • About
Patties and links should be individually wrapped in plastic, then in foil before storing. Uncooked, raw sausage will keep, tightly wrapped in plastic wrap then wrapped inside of aluminum foil, in the refrigerator for 2 days and in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Wrapping the sausages tightly in plastic first, then in aluminum foil will help prevent freezer burn and protect the sausage’s flavor.
