One Wisconsin country woman lets her blender chop the vegetables when she makes ketchup. She practically eliminates pot watching and stirring by cooking the tomato mixture in the oven. If you have an electric saucepan, oven roaster or a controlled surface unit or burner on your range, it also will cut out the necessity of constant watching and stirring.
