Ah, Italy, amore! Warm sun, sidewalk cafés, beaches, street vendors, and colors everywhere. That is what comes to mind when eating this cherished dessert, filled with rich flavors of cream and espresso. I had my introduction to tiramisu when I was only four years old. We had stopped in Italy on the way back from our family vacation in the south of France. Every year, we savored four weeks of camping, swimming, and basking in sunshine by the Mediterranean Sea after a year of mostly cloudy German weather.
