Tonia George worked as a food stylist for 10 years and as food editor on the highly acclaimed magazine Waitrose Food Illustrated. She is the author of several cookbooks, including Things on Toast (she is a self-confessed toast addict) and A Perfect Start. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Living etc, Red magazine, US Food and Wine and the Guardian Weekend magazine.
Nicholas and Emma Scott have forged successful careers in the restaurant and events sector in both London and Sydney. Emma has previously worked at the acclaimed British restaurant St John and Terence Conran’s Quaglino’s and also catered events including the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Nick, originally from New Zealand, has worked for some of the top eateries in Sydney, and was astounded by the lack of good coffee shops in London. Together he and Emma ran a consultancy for restaurant owners, which took them all around the world, including to Beijing in the run-up to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
