Traversing Africa once again, we leave its western coastal region and cross over to the southern hemisphere zone on the east coast. Tanzania is a country in East Africa, bordering the Indian Ocean. Tanzania is home to the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, which was once an active volcano. The Serengeti National Park is the oldest and most popular park to tour in Tanzania—it is home to 1.7 million wild beasts. Soccer is the favored sport in this country. Tanzania is the world’s largest producer of cloves.
