I am not a farmer by education, family background or training. On the contrary, I have been a corporate employee for over two decades. But in my late 30s, I realised there was something not quite right about the food we ate. We had no idea where it was coming from, what chemicals were used in its production, or what additives were used in the preservation and ripening processes. As a family, we wanted to be more aware of and intentional about what we were putting into our bodies.
